Kashmir, Ayodhya, are all instances of occupation by brute force, legitimised by the country's top court, doing permanent damage to our people and our sense of justice.

Remember this the next time the SC delivers a judgment that seems to protect our rights, and we have the urge to say 'faith restored!'.

@swati hasn’t justice always been shifting under various parties in power?
@ashwin The independence of our judiciary has certainly been questionable on several occasions, but I'd like to think that the idea of justice isn't determined by what the courts alone say.
@swati the question is what next ?
@skylover_once Current trends, NRC included, don't inspire much hope.
@swati NRC , facial recognition, full fledged snooping of whatsapp and on twitter and other social networks, trying to identify individuals who are capable of spreading the truth at any level, and trying to create panic...
@swati courts' coloured behaviour is eroding the faith in Constitution and is also instilling a sense of alienation in a whole lot of citizens. This can lead to an anarchical situation.
@nawedbelagam As Ambedkar said, "however good a Constitution may be, it is sure to turn out bad because those who are called to work it, happen to be a bad lot. However bad a Constitution may be, it may turn out to be good if those who are called to work it, happen to be a good lot."
