BJP's decision to give Bhanu Pratap Sahi a ticket in Jharkhand is proof that curbing corruption is the last thing on their mind.

Sahi is accused in a Rs. 130 crore medicine scam & Rs. 4000cr money laundering case. He has been out on bail since 2013.

Jharkhand Candidate List Raises Questions On BJP's Anti-Corruption Stance

The BJP candidates' list in Jharkhand contains a few surprises when it comes to candidates accused of corruption. The list of 52 candidates released for the state's 81 seats, contained the name of Bhanu Pratap Sahi, accused in the Rs 130 crore medicine scam during the tenure of government led by Madhu Koda between 2006 and 2008. But the ticket for senior Minister Saryu Rai, who exposed several scams -- including the fodder scam in undivided Bihar and later, the 800-crore mining scam in Jharkhand -- was kept on hold.
