Human_Being@Deepsealioness Ever since I created an account here have been thinking, if the people in this instance can work towards farmers welfare. We can all decide to spend some time of the day to research methods of farming good practices across the globe and reach out to our farmers. If they can grow profitable crops then we can stem their suicides. Just a small step in the right direction. How can we do it?

@Human_Being @Deepsealioness Farmers get into debt to buy seeds & fertilizer. For example bag of 450gm of Bt. cotton seeds costs rs.740. A farmer will need 6 bags/acre. GMO seeds are IP of Seed Co.'s,farmers can't save them. They endup buying seeds every year. Seeds should be free & farmers should be able to save them for next year. Farmers can switch to non-gmo seeds through Seed Banks.
