@Lord_VoldeMaut I think Twitter can stand to make *a lot* of money by white-labeling their services (like Google Apps/G Suite) and let journalists/organizations put social networking on their own DNS. They can federate via ActivityPub to the rest of the Mastodon network. Weird they would filter out the competition at this stage.
