The difference between Ambedkarism and Periyarism is that Ambedkar was gracious to the Brahmin, even stating that "Brahmins were also slaves to the Hindu caste system"

Periyarism on the other hand was more radical and realised that the Oppressor would not abandon their hold over power peacefully.
