1. Twitter seems to have ceded control of its platform to the BJP government - it is no longer @TwitterIndia, it became #Twitter4BJP.
2. Twitter shut down voices who were critical of the government on flimsy grounds based on mass reporting by RW. Did not have a human evaluate before shutting down
3. Allowed hate on platform - death/rape threats, Islamophobia & casteism giving rise to trends like

4. Most of all, it became arrogant. Tweeters reported, pleaded, ran trends to make it listen to their point-of-view, it shut them down saying all this was free speech and saying it was impartial. That thread it put out yesterday was the final nail in the coffin
5. It forgot the maxim -If you don't take care of your customers, someone else will. If you allow a toxic and atmosphere, peaple will go where they can breathe freely
