Pops has moved instances!!!Planting trees isn't necessarily the same thing as reforestation. I'd love to see some sources on how orgs like ecosia and the Arbor Day Foundation (teamtrees) are about actually rebuilding self-sustaining ecosystems, as opposed to just putting some trees somewhere
dave@socalledunitedstates I'm curious as well. I've purchased some trees from Arbor Day in the past but it's never been clear to me if what they are doing is actually effective.

Kai@Isocelesisopod @socalledunitedstates I've done some volunteer work doing reforestation and it's done with a variety of native species of saplings. Not making a monoculture is very much a consideration.
