@fedilab bug 1) Splitting long posts eats the last letter of each section.

Let's say I have a long post that gets split.

It gets split like this:

post 1: "Let's say I have a lon" (the g is gone!)
post 2: "post that gets split."

bug 2) Also, when a post is less or equal than 500 characters long, the splitter duplicates the mentioned tags @fedilab - 1/2

resulting in a longer post that gets split. (don't have an example, sorry) @fedilab - 2/2

no, wait, it repeats the usernames!

(also, maybe it's the link length? Mastodon interpreters all links as having 23 characters long)

yup, this has bit me a couple of times as well. I currently just leave auto-split off and only turn it on when I know I'll be writing a toot that needs to be split.
