I've worked in technical/computer areas all my life, and I really wish there were more women in my field. As my peers.

Companies like this are not helping at all.

@sybren It is one thing if they made the honest mistake of putting a white bearded male in the ad.
But defending the choice of a male just shows you that this choice was a 100% intended.
I lose faith in humanity when I see this..

@sybren I do not lose faith in all mankind , just in some young people where these kind of thoughts, against all odds,still seem to linger. Even though one sometimes wishes these thoughts since long would have been eradicated .
