Crossing the border from Switzerland to Southern Germany is funny as people suddenly speak this weird dialect that I can hardly understand. This either means that I got used to Swiss German or that the local German dialects sound even worse (Swabian/Badian). I know, this sounds offending. But the difference is that most Swiss people can switch to an almost perfect High German, as it is a second language for them, while the people in Germany are usually stuck with their dialects.
