I want to thank people here on LR instance.
Earlier today I was a bit frustrated on the amount of complaints we get from other instances because we refuse to take a political stands and refuse to ban users who may post or reply with a political comment that is different from their views.
We have never censored anyone from their political view. We are a linux instance and value open and free and value differences.
Your responses have shown me we are doing things right.

@Connor They had there was one yesterday. I just don't understand some people. Me personally could careless about a instance if you don't like a person you have the full power to block that person. Besides if someone once to talk geek I am ready I don't give a crap about your beliefs.

@omnipotens True. It does seem pretty nuclear to block a whole instance, or a user because they talk politics.

@raphduggan: Dude, thank you. Political intolerance and shaming has become rampant today, and now we have people who think the other side is all reprehensible, meanwhile those people are usually smart enough to realize they have nothing to gain by being open about their opinions.
