@hax in late 90s/early 00s (alas just before Google indexed *everything*) an animal rescue in USA got a cat to dip its paws in various colours of non-toxic paint and walk across a canvas (the cat willingly did this, multiple times on different canvases).

they sold the resulting paintings as modern art (being 100% honest about how they were made).

Each sold for at least $100 and they fed every animal in the rescue for a year with the proceeds 😸 😎
