Imagine if you weren't allowed to own a house/condo unless you physically reside there for most of the year

Like, you can have your own house as an investment

But you can't have a million empty houses and condos downtown as an investment

Just daydreaming about a better possible world; please don't reply to tell me the million loopholes that the rich would find that's not the point

Even if there are loopholes, this would be a huge improvement upon the current situation. We shouldn't hate the good for the love of the perfect.
