when people say something about a discussion on GitHub, the medium that you've directed people to for discussion of future Mastodon functionality, you complain that the post was "basically internal communications between regular contributors"

it feels like "this isn't private enough for this verbiage" is a mistake that's easy enough to make sometimes, and maybe being in the spotlight tends to make it easy for people to focus on that mistake?

but I don't know the deets, just saying it seems like it wasn't user-atagonistic so much as slightly user-unaware
