Wow, a lot of haters on bird site dissing my decision to join IBM X force. Making OS2 Warp jokes and saying I went back to the future to the 1990s, that IBM is a dinosaur and is dying. IBM and X-force are doing good big things now. Wait and see.

@spacerog Sounds like they're the ones out-of-touch. IBM is doing some pretty cool things nowadays. Grats on the gig. I bet it'll be a lot of fun.

@spacerog seriously? IBM has several of the most sophisticated R&D groups in the industry, from chip design to AI… dissing IBM is really rather immature.

Given the resources available X-Force is not a bad choice at all and, on top, if they are allowed to play with the other research arms you can move from secure processors to applying AI to ITsec. Downside: corporation mentality.
