Can we slow down already?

"A century ago, a strain of pandemic flu killed up to 100 million people—5 percent of the world’s population."

@Jason_Dodd
a century ahead:

"a genetically modified strain of pandemic flu killed up to 100 million people"

@kariomuschel I'm following but your math is off. 5% would be more like 1billion.

@Jason_Dodd i just wrote 100million .. no percentages..

i just wanted to say, that we didnt cure viruses..we just learned how to weaponize them ^^ nobody will be worried about metal flying through the air..it'll be nucreal bombs and viruses.

@Jason_Dodd btw i dont understand what you wanted to say with that tröt :-)

@kariomuschel That a century ago the world's population was 100 million x 20 - 2 billion. Now we're inching towards 8 billion.

Enough with the people already.

@kariomuschel Not to put too fine a point on it, but that growth was after 1/5 of the population died from the flu!
@Jason_Dodd yes you're right. i woudn't hurt to stop growing ;-) in fact it woud probably be a good idea to decrease population, because every unborn child helps reducing the co2 levels by not creating co2 in the first place.
