The bottom right piece was one I submitted to a local art show (Love and Lust a Celebration of Sexuality) but ended up not being admitted. The gallery organizer feared it would be triggering for one of her students that is a rape survivor, and anyone else that has survived abuse and that she's "worried that for those who don't understand this piece could feel degrading to women's rights."
I absolutely agree that it's her art show and am totally fine with her exercising her right to curate the art in it. But I'm sad that we couldn't use it as an opportunity to educate more people and help destigmatize sex, kink, BDSM etc...
