Heartened by the turnout for the climate march in Montreal. I couldn’t get a good view of the whole thing, even being on the side of a freakin’ mountain (okay Mont Royal is really a hill), but CBC is reporting “tens of thousands”
Literally 2km of streets packed, estimates are over 150,000 people in Montreal, or 10% of the global total (Photo Martin Tremblay, La Presse)
(might be 150,000 in the province and half that in Montreal. I dunno, how many people can fit in 2 kilometres of 4 lane street?)
