OldBrushNewPaper@saffron *chuckle* My first kitty (RIP) was delightfully lacking in any consideration of where she drank water. We'd have to guard our glasses, or she'd help herself.
The *look* my kitty gave me, when she tried to help myself to my beer...
Of course, beer smells vile, so she stopped about 5 cm from the surface, and it was like her nose *bounced* off of an invisible shield.

I've lived with a cat who insisted on drinking out of any glass of water she found, haha. It was so cute.
My kitty doesn't actually drink from my mug, but she must sniff and inspect every drink or empty glass. And this morning decided the best way to check out the other side of my beside take was to just stand in an empty mug that was blocking her way, haha.
@saffron Cats are such great teachers, of how many boundaries we consider set in stone are actually just constructs in our minds (and not theirs, definitely NOT! LOL)
