Nano is a perfectly fine text editor. It's like Notepad for Linux.
@mike Nanu Nanu... I could say it in my mind, but could get it on the screen. LOL. Trust me, if one program helps one with with their work flow over another, it's not a big deal. I remember being mad at having to attach a mouse to my computer to get some programs to work. Now I'd be lost without the mouse. I still don't like touchpads.
I could get around really well with a SLED (I think it was), PKZip and QFiler on my old DOS boxes.
Edlin was a fun tool to use too. :P
