Hm been trying to gather my thoughts about Hisoka as I read more and more. I think he's interesting. Clearly a bloodthirsty character, based on the first 13 chapters he's someone who follows his instinct over anything. He brings a type of negative, intense quality in Gon. In a way it seems as though he's making him seek the threat of death?

One of my favorite things is how he renders Hisoka. I like that when he's under his calm guise he's got less details, easier to read as human, easier to project our emotion onto; but then he's completely "othered" when he lets his bloodlust take over; insane amount of linework, heavy detail. V good
