@dnkl Can't help but notice that you're a fellow emacs user.

Do you use emacs in alacritty or as an X10 application?

@bun usually as an x11-plain application (no gtk). But occasionally as a pure terminal application.

Last I tried it in alacritty there were some bugs related to meta-key repeat. The bug report I've been watching has been closed since, though I haven't tried it myself.

@dnkl Oh god. X10 is so deeply embedded in me that i mistake it for X11.. That's horrifying
