I usually can't watch live TV because it's not information-dense enough. However, I've just had the privilege of accidentally catching a good 75% of Antony Gormley's BBC documentary about how art began.

Incredible stuff. I loved the way he responded to how visceral the art was, and focused on how important art is to us as humans.
