Me: I quit FB, Instagram, and Twitter.
Friend: Why'd you quit the internet?
Me: Actually I've *rejoined* the Internet.

Next time someone asked me why did I leave the internet, I'm gonna say I'm still very much on the Internet. When are *you* coming back?

That must've been a true friend! When I left Facebook, people just forgot I existed and that was end of the story.

@kavbojka I hear the situation is even worse in Myanmar, where Internet.org and mobile tie-ups lead people to think "the Internet" = "Facebook" 😮

years back someone was saying i "rage-quit the entire internet" because i stopped posting on one website
