Hello again! Some more exciting news today 🙂 Multipass for Windows Following our macOS release, this time the team is really happy to announce another platform Multipass will speed your workflow on. You can now grab the installer package for Windows from our GitHub Releases page. You need Windows 10 update 1803 or later and currently only Pro and Enterprise editions are supported due to the limitations of Home versions. @popey what exactly is the advantage of replacing LXC in snapcraft with multipass instead of switching to a cross-platform container-based alternative like Docker for example? I'm honestly wondering.

Reasoning behind the move to multipass

Hey, I’m wondering about the reason behind the move to multipass: What is the advantage of dropping LXC/LXD for multipass (which is basically a cli tool for QEMU, if I understand it correctly) instead of switching to a cross-platform container-based solution like Docker for example? Would love to understand the reasoning behind this move, since I couldn’t find much information about it.
