@susie_deltarune indeed... i hadst always known the king wast, well, not the most wondrous parental figure to him, but there wast little i had felt i couldst doth to intervene. the king trusted me with his son, and if i hadst broken that by questioning his methods, he'd surely have forbid me seeing him anymore and i wouldst haveth been in an even worst position to help the poor worme. t wast.... awful.

er... thanketh thoust for believing in me. i wast truthfully dreading if i wouldst need to rise up as a parental figure, as i feared i... well, that i wouldn't doth a good job, or that he wouldn't taketh to me. now, i feeleth those doubts has't receded.

and i guess that's alright, looking after someone else must be a pretty big responsibility. but i think lancer would agree that you're doing so pretty well. i know we're kids, but if there's any questions or concerns y'got, i'm pretty sure we can ask toriel back where we come from; she's the most parental of us there! i'm sure she can give some pretty good advice.
