a new law goes into effect 2/2/19 that allows you to amend your birth certificate with your correct gender by filling out a form, a letter from a surgeon isn’t required anymore

huh this is the first I've heard of it. you can also change your birth certificate to nonbinary, but giving the state legal info of me as an oppressed minority is really :/ without much reward
