🎉 2018 Report — The Fediverse Network

@href fcan you share the number of accounts per instance for the 1667 lost instances? i'd expect ~1500 of them being 1 or 2 acct instances. is that warranted by your data?
(thanks!)
@ashfoam that's the “removing 32,499 users and 6,246,772 statuses” part, no?

@href yes. but the distribution of users among instances is interesting.

for example: was it 1500 instances with 4000 users among them, and then 20000 users are from two big instances going down?

@ashfoam the data can do that, i just don't know how. do you want to do it?
@href unsure. have to think about how to do it and how long it might take. what data format?
@ashfoam it's a postgres database, instances table have the latest stats; there's also a table of every checks ever performed. Schema: https://gist.github.com/hrefhref/aa00ac964ec2619d43780c6d524bb43c

I can give a RO db access

@href apologies for not answering. I looked at the database scheme, then s/th interrupted me and I forgot all about it. Now I’m no longer that interested myself. Sorry to have bothered you. :(
