I discovered the Low Fantasy Gaming #RPG system today, and it looks pretty interesting! The system gives a free PDF with all the rules plus the option to buy physical copies!
I always like when combat is as dangerous and fast as it is in real life (i.e. very and devastatingly) and when non-specific ~magic~ has consequences. I doubt I'll ever use it personally, but it'll probably serve as some inspiration for GUTS+ in some way!

It's a very different take from LFG, though: this is percentile-based, no classes or levels, and with a (I assume) more narrative slant (eg. complications + drama points).
It also has penalties for getting under half of your mental stability or your hit points, for a sweet "death spiral" effect (once you get there, it's much harder to parry/dodge, etc.)
