Here's some issues I ran into doing this:
-log type didn't have scaling definitions, so it looked huge
-z fighting
-geometry and texture assignments when geometry isn't supposed to be there
Alright, I don't think I'll be touching this much since there's not much to touch at all but I did resolve some glaring issues (with some sacrifice). This is my first mod, so let me know what I can do to make it better !

@dusto at the moment, no :( I'm wondering if I should do more to make it more worthwhile before I do make it available. There's also a couple of culling issues that happen with certain blocks.
@Prower honestly I think the concept in itself makes it worthwhile to get bc i really love how u didn’t like. completely smooth them out for “super realism” like some other mods try to do and this just looks a lot more aesthetically pleasing ovo

@dusto my initial plan was to just make a kind of octagon but while i could have done the sides just fine, the top and bottom faces aren't so transformative in vanilla :( I'd either need to cheat, unlock the secrets within the rendering, or switch to something like forge. I do love the result though !!!
I just got a glaring issue fixed a moment ago so I'm cool to send the models but the textures aren't mine. I think they look fine with vanilla textures though !
@dusto hey ! I don't know if I'll touch this any further tbh -- it was a very fun first mod and until I can learn more to bend minecraft to my will, it'll have to do.

@mitras2 the logs themselves do not merge at all at the moment; i'd have to figure out how I can do that from a resource pack. chorus fruit have the ability, but I don't know how to mimic the behaviour in other blocks at the moment.
