That was a big, good week. Met up with a lovely old travelling friend and her new husband, had a few days in the office with my client, a few days powering through UI + API+ Event Sourcing enhancements for our major project, a sailing class, a haircut. *pours a wine*
I also managed to drop some seedlings over to a friends place and plant them out for him. Yay for growing our own food! 😀
My weekend is looking nicely busy too. Tomorrow I have morning gardening and new seeds to plant, and errands a few errands. In the afternoon there’s a maker space opening event to get to. Sunday I’ll drive up the valley for family stuff and planting my parents’ veggie garden with seedlings I’ve been raising for them.
This feels good. A comfortable busy that’s not all screens, and not stressful.
@carly_io That's a lot of gardening for the week/weekend! Last time I tried planting some herbs they died after the trauma of moving them into pots and I haven't had the effort to try again since. It's harder than it looks, I think!
@bellebcooper Gardening is my happy place. And some plants are harder than others for sure. I generally don’t have much luck with herbs either! Beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, cucamelon, spinach : much easier. 🙂
@carly_io Aha. I should have started with a beginner-level plant! I just picked what I thought I'd use a lot but they really were tough.
