@StarWarstrash I have the exact opposite problem. One NPC turned heel on them 6 years & 3 campaigns ago, and forevermore they act like every named character is out to get them.

@StarWarstrash in the last 5e campaign I ran, the players became convinced the local baron was up to alllll kinds of shady stuff. They got themselves an invite to dinner with him and his family, buy a ton of antitoxin and potions of poison neutralization...and then sit down, have a lovely dinner, forget all about their suspicions and accepted a job from him. Then got shocked when he turned out to actually be the evil warlock they thought he was in the first place.
