The Book of KelsRemember, you can't search by text on Mastodon, except in your own timeline. That's so harassers can't just find people to attack via a simple search.
Therefore it's important to use hashtags so people can find your stuff, assuming you want them to.

Yeah, I'm not exactly on board with the name search thing only giving a limited number of results either. That's a whole other issue.
@Nezchan Gargon (or whatever spelling) is honestly a shit with his dev and if you don't agree with him he just meh you away it's really awful from a free of right and opensource project
I haven't had a lot of contact with him in that context, so I honestly wouldn't know tbh. I mainly interact with Mastodon as a common user, and with Eugen on a more social level. I don't see him in the capacity of Guy In Charge very often.
