A question about arcane focus. When you have one, can you use it for ALL component spells (except money comp.) Or can you only use the focus for ONE spell of your choice?

@BrokenBonessa according to the book, focuses and component spells are used for all material components except for ones indicated with a cost. And components/focus can be used over and over unless spell says that it is consumed; not sure whether that applies to focuses though... #d&d #dnd #5e

@nekobakaz Thanks! Then I think I got it. The wizard in the gang bought a focus before we started and I was a bit lost on the focus rules.

@BrokenBonessa you’re welcome! I tend to play with divine casters, but I’m constantly looking up the difference and tend to carry a focus/holy symbol and component pouch, just in case (there’s also something fun about splashing holy water around)
