so i’d really like to Create Content on my days off

essays, vlogs, art, whatever.

but i don’t really know what to create?

and i want to make things and maybe start a patreon or ko-fi or whatever

so that i can maybe leave my job while i do internship things. because i really don’t think i will survive doing both

idk every time i consider this i don’t think i have much to offer.

but i do know a lot about title ix, how it works, sexual violence education stuff, and mental health. which are like Important Topics i guess

yeah. i think i want to do this?

ok so.

what is good (video) editing software? for vlogs, maybe audio/voice overs?

or just like. a compilation f resources for folks who want to get into creating a video blog.

uh so

i think what i'm gonna do is personal vlogs, and educational content (essays, vlogs, images, power points, whatever)

mental health and sexual violence based

but also maybe some streams of video games and pixel art stuff

i'm gonna tell my story

but also educate people on victimology, title ix, consent, healthy relationships, mental health, etc.

but i don't want it to be so heavy all of the time either, so mixing in more casual things will be good

@gingerrroot sony vegas has never failed me, and you can get it for free on the pirate bay
@gingerrroot Hitfilm express and Da vinci resolve are both free and very well featured. More than enough for editing vlogs and I can highly recommend them for nearly any other kinds of video editing you might want to do.
@gingerrroot KDenLive is amazing and easy to use. For simple to medium projects there is no better I believe.

@gingerrroot

I'd look at openshot, shotcut And audacity for the audio.

@gingerrroot ... in terms of "what" to create, you should try to think of things that only YOU can do. What is your special skill/interest/obsession/hobby? What is your unique perspective? Also: What do you wish was out there, content-wise, in the universe of vlogs, essays, or art? Make what you think is missing! Your unique contribution 🌿 ❤️

Also: I try to keep a list of things to blog or journal about, to combat those "I don't know what to write" moments 😀
