Someone gave mea supermicro 16 core server with 196 gigs of RAM. 4U with 24 drive bays. I'm putting ESXI on it now.

I have a 1U server with 8 cores that I haven't been using due to power consumption. I think this 4U is more efficient.

Tried 6 different ways of making an ESXI USB boot disk from OSX. None worked. Ended up using RUFUS in windows. I'll need to read more later on why the usual dd methods don't work.
