so the new silent planet album has a song called visible unseen about lgbtq youth and the singer wrote the line "am I only flawed when I'm alive? only your child if I lived denied? I ask of you, benevolence, was I made just to be broken?" based on a conversation he had with a trans friend I'm gushing about this on birdsite but like deadass I just wanna cry lol, like I'm cis but still hearing this as a part of the queer community is just. god it hits hard as hell.
