Excellent. I had some disagreements with the idioms, but overall the course was helpful in getting my brain into the right mode for the language.

I like how sometimes a new idiom tickles the same part of the brain that a funny joke does. Brief incongruity that resolves into a chuckle.

For me some just felt wrong, or violated pu grammar entirely. My main issue is that brute force memorization of phrases in toki pona can inadvertently teach your brain to think that the phrase has only one meaning, and vice versa.
