Well I got a popup/toast when you replied to this but that's cause I had it open :')

doesn't look like notifications outside the app work, unfortunately

maybe it needs to be a real app for that?

Hmm, not sure. It supports webpush, so I was hoping it could handle full notifs - but you seem to be right at the moment
