@Tutanota There's also this project (with an awful unsearchable fuckup of a name) https://e.foundation/ that tries to build an Android system with even less Google then Lineage (basen on LOS and MicroG, aimed at people that are not too tech-savy, which is a very nice thing).

@Tutanota It is very difficult to quit google, I have done so and use zoho for my email, synced calendar and docs, without it it would be much harder. I have to buy older phones that will work with sailfish OS or Ubuntu touch like the nexus 5. I also use duckduckgo and tracking blockers to block google analytics since google can still collect your data that way. I use mega.nz and a personal owncloud account for backup.
