i ordered plenty of extras, in case I screw it up.
seat safety switch@ajroach42 I wanted to do that but couldn't find a good distributor for the Finnish SRAM-slash-video generator.
That was the hardest bit for me, too, and I ended up spending about $7/each for them, once shipping was included.
@seatsafetyswitch (also, I got a ton of extras, and once I've managed to build a few successfully, I'll probably sell the extras as kits.)
@ajroach42 I've wanted to build something akin to a terrible homebrew lisp-machine for awhile now. When I read about the BASIC Engine's use of this part, seemed perfect.

@ajroach42 I'd definitely make some posts about it on the blog if I decide to do anything. First step is probably to make one of those neat little Z80 breadboard computers.
@ajroach42 I mean they're basically the Best Part Ever, so a small premium is worthwhile. Where did you find them?
