I recently was properly introduced to Busta Rhymes' music and got stuck on a song called "Gimme some more"
In it he mentions his "Flipmode" pals and talks about "going flipmode" after hitting his head
one visit to UD later and I sorta learn that it means a sudden and usually permanent sudden shift in personality and behavior in general. Typically from a "good soul" to a "bad soul" but it can be used in a more general sorta shift too.

Except I'm talking about how I went from a smart white cis male that got into a major university and had consistently shown both excellent behavior as well as high tests all around with an empty love life (IE someone with the proverbial "easiest route short of money" ) to a queer trans stoner gal who quit her shitty minute mart job due to a mental break down and is now desperate for employment and falling out with her family while deeply in love.
