@MrsMouse Cricket is a sport that the British invented that amounts to a bunch of rules that the Americans thought were too complicated so they made baseball instead.

But cricket the pitcher gets a running start and whips the ball into the dirt at like 200mph and the batter swings a flat bat and gets 2 points for a weak hit, 4 points for a good hit, and 6 for hitting their version of home run. If they miss the ball they are out. It is hard to miss. Games last forever.

@MrsMouse They run back and forth to confirm the 2 and 4 points, and if one of the fielders gets the ball and whips it at the stick thingys and breaks it while the batter is still running, then the batter is out.

It is weird. Like high-speed bowling.
