One thread that runs through every episode of kitchen nightmares is that capitalism 100% perpetuates the idea of the divine right of kings. Every single owner on the show is shown abusing their staff and costumers, ignoring basic hyegine etc, and when Ramsay calls them out they deny it outright. The series frames it as "the key to success is good leadership". What it shows instead is that those who own capital are lead to believe that by the virtue of owning they can do no wrong.
@garfiald Not to mention that the entire show is predicated on providing a sort of welfare to capitalists.
When an employee is the problem, they're fired, and everyone agrees the place will be better without them.
When the owner is the problem, they're kept around and everyone just hopes they learn a lesson.
