Aral Balkan@bekaa In a nutshell: if you want to own your identity on the fediverse, you have to own/use your own domain. If you can, throw $5/mo at @mastohost like I do & grab a domain name for ~$10/year and then you have full ownership/control over your own instance, you make the rules & can still talk to anyone on other instances/the fediverse. Most importantly, you can move to another host anytime without losing your friends/followers. Hope this helps + good luck! 🤓
