My old dog was a rescue. He was the smartest dog I ever met. I wasn't (am not) really a dog person I guess, but I loved that dog so much. We went through a lot together.

@wilw My dog used to do this whenever I ate pancakes. That beast of mine could eat an entire pancake in two well-placed chomps, and of course, once eaten, immediately forgotten, and I'd get the "please I'm so hungry for a pancake!" eyes again right after. And I had to comply - who could resist the hopeful look of a hungry pup?

@djsuptic My dogs do it whenever we're eating anything, because dogs. If they tell you that they've never eaten anything ever in their lives, they're lying.
