Jiří Eischmann@vrutkovs Well, if you don't wanna be completely underground you simply have to comply with authorities. By spreading infra and encryption keys among several jurisdictions I think Telegram makes it pretty difficult for them to get any of your data.

Its just their claim to never-ever give away a single bit of user data to state authorities a few years ago - even back then it was childish, now its in TOS without even a proper warrant canary
