he left earth after the eugenics wars in 1996?
he was in stasis from then until when Kirk revived him?
then was exiled to a planet that became incredibly harsh living until Chekov found him?
come AAAHN how is he even supposed to be that aware of klingons and that forgetful of human culture

@lisaquestions yeah, i thought of that, but it's like how in undiscovered country the Klingons call Shakespeare their own... there's clearly some dispute over the cultural canon, but i feel like the federation logs would account for that. also he had already been an emperor my the time he left in 96!! lol it's also just funny how much they rely on western cultural artifacts to the point where other places try to lay claim to a small eurocentric fraction of classical works haha
