Best person of the day was a woman who ran up, fixed our flyers, and then told us that we were unleashing demons into the world. My favorite was a guy who came up to us and told us we we're being brave for doing what we were doing. But hey, had some new sign ups. Good day
sshansford@RooTurboMoth if I can ask, what's your Marx Forum like? What do you get up to? The equivalent at my uni was very... Shallow. Was disappointing to see, so hoping to hear stories of people doing it better
@sshansford if ours has a flaw it is that we go a little too deep and it pushes people away a bit. What can start out as a marxist analysis of our current political climate can very much turn into a deep discussion of the conflict between the Russian Orthodox Church and Communism. We are attempting to add to our membership by being a bit more open about topics and including more people in discussion, without delving too deep. The problem with that is balance.
