How the hell does this even get on the App Store? Did the review team even look at the app? The App Store page looks near identical (and has near same name) as mine - okay maybe the review team can’t readily check for that. But should you open this app, it’s nothing what the App Store page even resembles. How the fuck does this pass review?!
@eurasierboy do they do something sneaky and load a whole different app if it detects it’s being looked at by an app reviewer?
@frankieroberto this would be a level of maliciousness that I’m not sure how they could accomplish since the review team uses multiple forms of simulated devices on multiple network arrangements. I’m more convinced that the review process has become a joke.
@eurasierboy I bet there’s some tell-tell signal they’re using though? Review team must at least load the app...?
@frankieroberto maybe? They load the app on all the reviews that I’ve been part of 🙃 I can’t give this developer that much credit and at this point I can’t trust the review team’s ability to do their job as they advertise.
@eurasierboy wow. I just reported this to apple support, maybe it helps.
@mntmn thanks every report helps.
@eurasierboy looks like it’s gone!
@mntmn yep - Apple’s legal team took it down after receiving no response from the developer. How it got back up a second time is beyond me but I’ve already lost a ton of faith in the review team. At least the legal team takes IP claims seriously 🙃
